Description: The genre of the music is best described by the artist "In my work I cherish and keep one of the oldest forms of the Balkans - the southern 'merak', a music of nostalgic phrases, exotic harmonies and temperament rhythm." Through the fourteen tracks on this album, one can note the musical skillfulness of Dragan Dimic Dimke. The effectiveness of his instrument, the clarinet, deepens this impression even more. In their desire to enrich the Serbian ethno sound, Mascom Records presents their new release, the Balkan Pilgrim Journey, an album by renowned clarinetist Dragan Dimic Dimke.
